Enepitsi Trail

Enepitsi is a stunning trail that runs by the river in Santa Clara UT. This trail begins near the Tukupetsi Trailhead. There are beautiful Cottonwood trees and huge, majestic, rocks. This is a fantastic trail for going outside and connection with nature.

Rim Reaper Trail

Rim Reaper is an incredible and beautiful little trail showing a great big valley and steep rims near scenic Santa Clara, UT. The hike itself is fairly easy despite the 83 foot climb, it’s the hike there that is slightly longer. Rim Ramble Trail branches off of Rim Rock Trail, and is not a closed loop trail. This trail dumps into Rim Reaper Trail, which is a short trail that begins and ends on Rim Rock Trail. This is probably one of my favorite hikes that I’ve done so far.

Difficulty Level: Easy (40 ft climb)

Views: There is a spectacular view of the valley that is below this rim. There are really cool rocks right next to the rim and the mountains nearby are stunning.

Tava’atsi Trail

Tava’atsi is a fun little hike near Santa Clara, UT. It is very short, but it has a nice little 112 ft climb. This trail can be accessed by the Anasazi Valley Trailhead by walking down Tempi’po’op and turning onto the trail. Or it can be accessed by the Tukupetsi Trailhead, again by taking Tempi’po’op trail up to its trailhead.

Views: You get a great view of Ivins Red Mountain and the Santa Clara Heights and Ivins area.

Lower Graveyard Trail

The Lower Graveyard Trail is a short little hike near beautiful Santa Clara, UT. You get a beautiful view of the spectacular mountain ranges near Ivins, UT and near Snow Canyon National Park. This trail is next to the Tukupetsi Trailhead, and is accessed by taking the Upper Graveyard Trail until you get to the sign that designates the trailhead of Lower Graveyard Trail.

Views: You get a great view of Ivins Red Mountain and the Santa Clara Heights and Ivins area.

Cholla Trail

Cholla is a nice, easy, yet scenic trail off the highway going through Santa Clara, UT. Only a mile long, with a climb of about 35 feet, this is an easy hike for beginners and all those who just want to go stretch their legs out. You can get there by walking up Lower Graveyard Trail, or taking Tempi’po’op Trail.

Jacob Hamblin Indian Mission Trail

The Jacob Hamblin Trail is a short trail with a really neat destination. The trail heads are located at two historic places in Santa Clara, UT: The Jacob Hamblin Home, and the Santa Clara Cemetery. There is a neat little cool spot at about the middle, where a cool breeze comes in. Also, you will see the old Santa Clara fort during your walk as well as the three flags there. The trail is fairly steep, and going downhill is a lot easier than going uphill. There are benches on the trail so that if you get a little winded, you can sit down and take a rest.

Difficulty Level: Medium

Facilities: There are restrooms and a water fountain behind the Jacob Hamblin Home, and there are benches on the trail.

Cool Things: The Jacob Hamblin Home has a free guided tour of the house and they show you neat things about how they lived back then.

Views: You get a great view of the Santa Clara Valley, and all the beautiful green fields and farmhouses.
